General Website Terms


The Fizzy Rascal website is here to showcase our products, share information about our shop, and keep you updated on what’s new. All content on this site – including images, product descriptions, branding and copy – is owned by The Fizzy Rascal
and may not be copied or used without permission.


We aim to keep all information accurate and up to date, but occasional errors may occur. We reserve the right to update, change or remove content at any time. By using this website, you agree not to misuse it, attempt to interfere with its security, or engage in any activity that disrupts its normal operation.

Purchase Terms


We are not currently offering online purchasing. All products shown on the website are available in-store only at The Fizzy Rascal. Prices, availability and product ranges may change, and some items are limited edition or available for a short time
only.


Once our ecommerce system launches (estimated 4–6 months), full online purchase terms – including payment, order confirmation, delivery/collection options and customer rights – will be added here.

Returns and Refunds

At The Fizzy Rascal, we want every customer to enjoy their sweets, gifts and celebration items. This policy applies to instore purchases only. We do not currently sell online.


Food Items


For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Pick ’n’ mix / weighed sweets

  • Ready packaged sweets

  • Savoury snacks

  • Edible gifts

 

If a food item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly labelled or not as described, we will offer a replacement or refund.


Earrings (Personal Items)


For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged, unless faulty or not as described.


Non Food Items


Non food items such as gifts, piñatas, cards and accessories may be returned within 14 days if:

 

  • Unused

  • In original packaging

  • In re-saleable condition

  • Proof of purchase is provided


We cannot accept returns on personalised or seasonal items unless faulty.


Faulty or Damaged Items


If any product is faulty or damaged, please bring it back to the shop or contact us. We may ask to see the item so we can investigate the issue.

Privacy and Cookies


We take your privacy seriously. When you browse our website, we may collect basic information such as pages visited, time spent on the site and general browsing behaviour. This helps us understand how people use our website and allows us to improve it.


If you choose to contact us through a form or sign up for updates, we will only use your information for the purpose you provided it for. We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.


Our website uses cookies to ensure it works smoothly and to help us understand how visitors use it. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.


Delivery and Collection


At the moment, all purchases from The Fizzy Rascal are available in-store only. Our website is here to showcase our range of stock not to provide online ordering, delivery or click and collect - just yet.


We’re working behind the scenes to bring a full ecommerce service to life, including delivery and collection options. This is planned for the next 4–6 months, and we’ll update this section as soon as it’s ready to launch.

For now, we’d love to welcome you into the shop – where you can explore the full range, ask questions, and pick your favourites in person.

 

Reward Cards


The Fizzy Rascal loves nothing more than spreading a little extra joy – whether that’s through a bag of retro sweets, a cheeky cable, or a jar filled to the brim with nostalgia. Our Reward Cards are our way of saying thank you to the people who support us every day: the local businesses who keep Shoreham buzzing, the friends and family who’ve cheered us on from the start, and the sweet-loving regulars who pop in for their favourite treats.


To keep things simple (and fun), we run three reward card schemes:

  • Local Business Discount Card – a 10% sweet treat discount for our neighbouring businesses, because community matters and we love being part of yours.

  • Friends & Family Discount Card – a 10% discount for the people who’ve helped bring The Fizzy Rascal to life.

  • Traditional Retro Sweets Stamp Card – collect 9 stamps and enjoy 100g of your favourite retro sweets on us, because loyalty should taste delicious.

 

Each card has its own purpose, but they all share the same spirit: rewarding kindness, celebrating community, and making sure every visit to The Fizzy Rascal feels just a little bit sweeter.


All cards are issued by The Fizzy Rascal and are subject to the Terms & Conditions below.

 

Shared Terms (Apply to All Cards)

 

  • Cardholders must be aged 16+

  • Cards are nontransferable

  • Cards have no cash value

  • Lost/stolen cards will not be replaced

  • Cards remain the property of The Fizzy Rascal

  • Misuse may result in cancellation

  • The Fizzy Rascal may amend or withdraw any scheme at any time

Local Business Discount Card

 

  • One per business establishment

  • 10% discount on eligible items

  • Discount applies to product subtotal before tax

  • Valid only within the dates written on the card

  • Cannot be combined with other offers, promotions, multi buy deals, or discount codes

  • Exclusions:

o Gift cards

o Sale/clearance items

o Non-discountable items

o Seasonal promotional bundles

o Piñata accessories (blindfolds/sticks) if excluded

o Supplier restricted items

  • Card must be shown at purchase

  • Only one discount card per transaction

  • Discount cannot be applied retrospectively

Friends & Family Discount Card


Same parameters as the Local Business Discount Card, but issued to named individuals at Fizzy Rascal’s discretion.

Traditional Retro Sweets Stamp Card

 

  • One stamp per purchase from the Traditional Retro Sweet Range

  • 9 stamps = 100g Traditional Retro Sweets free

  • Free 100g can only be redeemed once per completed card

  • Completed card must be shown at redemption

  • Free 100g cannot be exchanged for cash or used on other product ranges

  • Only one completed stamp card per transaction
